Warranty policy

At XBEN, we provide a 1-year warranty for our electric vehicles. This warranty policy outlines our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Warranty Coverage Period

Your XBEN product is covered by our standard 1-year limited warranty. This warranty period begins from the original purchase date of the product from XBEN or an authorized XBEN dealer.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship of the product arising or occurring as a result of your normal and ordinary use of the product. In the event a defect covered by this warranty occurs, XBEN will repair or replace your product in accordance with the terms of this warranty.

What Is Not Covered

The following items are not covered by this warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear items including but not limited to:
    • Tires
    • Tubes
    • Brake pads
    • Brake cables
    • Chains
    • Cassettes
    • Chain rings
    • Grips
    • Saddles
    • Spokes
  • Damage caused by:
    • Misuse or using the product for commercial/rental purposes
    • Riding the vehicle in abnormal road conditions
    • Accidents or collisions
    • Improper assembly or installation
    • Unauthorized modifications to the product
    • Disassembling the vehicle without direction by XBEN
    • Faulty installation, repair, or maintenance by anyone other than XBEN
    • Exposure to extreme environments (including extreme temperature or humidity)
    • Water damage
    • Improper storage
  • Anti-rust layer damage caused by misuse (which can lead to corrosion and fracture of parts)

Warranty Expiration

The warranty will be automatically expired if any unauthorized modification occurs. During the service ordering process, you must notify us of any unauthorized modifications, repairs, or replacements not performed by XBEN that have been made to your product. We will not be responsible for any damage to the product that occurs during the repair process that is a result of any unauthorized modifications or repairs or replacements not performed by XBEN.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you notice any problems with your XBEN product that you believe should be covered under this warranty, please contact us at support@xben-ev.com with the following information:

  1. Your order number
  2. Photos of the defective part
  3. A video demonstrating the issue (if applicable)
  4. A detailed description of the problem

After receiving your claim, our customer service team will evaluate your request and contact you regarding next steps. If your claim is approved, we will provide either:

  1. Replacement parts with installation instructions, or
  2. A full repair service depending on the nature of the issue

DIY Parts Service

In some cases, XBEN may provide you with replacement parts that you can install yourself. This DIY Parts Service allows you to service your own product. If XBEN determines that DIY Parts Service is available to you, XBEN will ship to you a replacement part for your product along with installation instructions.

Shipping Costs for Warranty Service

For warranty claims within the warranty period, XBEN will cover the shipping costs for replacement parts or returning the repaired product to you. If you need to ship your product or a component to us for repair, we will provide shipping instructions.

Customer Responsibility

To maintain your warranty coverage, you must:

  1. Properly maintain your XBEN product according to the guidelines in your user manual
  2. Use the product only for its intended purpose
  3. Not modify or alter the product without XBEN's approval
  4. Register your product on our website within 30 days of purchase
